1) OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT USING ONE OF THE THREE FOLLOWING METHODS: 

A) Open a New Account for an individual or for joint owners while online. 

• Link to the New Account Setup Wizard.
• Upon finishing the online New Account Application, an account number is assigned and online internet account access will be granted.
• Print out the New Account Application, sign it and mail it to FISN. Please include a copy of a government issued picture identification card for each person named on the form.
• Mail to:

B) Call FISN at 1-800-351-4494 between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time to complete the New Account Application over the phone with an FISN representative. 

• An account number will be assigned to you.
• Funding instructions will be provided.
• Trading in a funded account can begin immediately.
• We will send you the completed New Account Application in the mail. Please sign it and return it. Please include a copy of a government issued picture identification card for each person named on the form. An online user number and temporary password will be given to you for online account access after completing the application over the phone and we have received the completed application in the mail.

Opening an account over the phone is best for : 

• Non-individual accounts, i.e. corporate or trust accounts and IRA accounts.
• Those not comfortable with the internet.
• People unsure which application is right for them. 

C) Download and mail a completed New Account Application to FISN.

• Select the FORMS tab to find the full array of new account forms. Choose the most suitable new account application. Call us for help in deciding which application is right for you. (All forms are in .pdf format)
• Read the Customer Agreement. (Retain the Customer Agreement section and file in your records)
• Fully complete and sign the application. You can actually type on the form online and then print it when completed. Please include a copy of a government issued picture identification card for each person named on the form.
• Make a check payable to National Financial Services LLC (NFS) for deposit into your new brokerage account.
• Mail to:

• Call us at 1-800-351-4494 if you have any questions. You can also contact us via e-mail: info@fisn.com
• Upon receiving your New Account Application we will phone you with your account number and deposit your check into that account.
• If you did not send a check with your application, then follow the Funding instructions below. Before new clients can make trades FISN requires that they fully fund an account equal to the desired purchase.
• An online user number and temporary password will be given to you for online account access 2 to 5 days after receiving the fully completed application.

2) FUND THE ACCOUNT: CONTACT FISN FOR YOUR BEST METHOD OF ACCOUNT FUNDING. 1-800-351-4494

Remember funds are due in your account by the settlement date.

A) CHECK - Make a check payable to National Financial Services LLC (NFS), write your account registration title and FISN account number on the check and mail it to FISN. National Financial Services holds cash and securities for all FISN accounts.

B) WIRE - Wire the money from your current bank into your assigned account at First Internet Securities Network (FISN). National Financial Services holds cash and securities for all FISN accounts. C) ACCOUNT TRANSFER - Transfer funds from another brokerage account via ACAT (Automated Customer Account Transfer). This option will do all the back-office work of transferring your account. You may transfer all or part of this account including cash and securities.

• Call FISN and together we will fill out the forms over the phone.
• We will mail the completed form to you.
• Designate "all" or the desired portion to transfer.
• Attach your most recent brokerage statement.
• All owners must sign the ACAT form and mail to FISN.

• Download the Transfer of Assets Form.  Complete it fully. All owners must sign the ACAT form. Attach a copy of your latest statement from your current brokerage account.

3) BEGIN TRADING 

Once you have opened and funded a new FISN brokerage account you can begin trading.

• Call FISN to place a trade. CDs and other fixed income can only be purchased by calling FISN.
• Trade through your online account. Stocks and mutual funds can be purchased online.
